Please Read: Important Chromebook Safety Notice

AOMS Families,

We want to make you aware of a concerning trend circulating on TikTok where students are encouraged to insert graphite leads, paper clips and other foreign objects into the Chromebook ports causing the devices to overheat, emit smoke, and spark. 

Please speak with your student about the seriousness of this behavior. Intentionally damaging school-issued Chromebooks is a safety hazard and permanently damages the Chromebook beyond repair. Families will be responsible for the full cost of replacing the Chromebook in such cases.
