Parents on Campus

We love having Parents on Campus and there are many ways to get involved at Aviara Oaks Middle School. Whether you become a Falcon Friend, Field Trip Driver/Chaperone, Booster Club helper, or shelving books in the library, there is one thing we need you to do first!

CUSD Volunteer Requirements and Application 2026-2027

Please review the volunteer requirements for CUSD. Requirements are based on the level of supervision provided while working with students. These updated requirements are designed to help ensure a safe, supportive enviroment for all students while providing expectations and guidance for those who volunteer in our schools. 

District Approval: Volunteers will be notified by email when cleared to begin volunteering. 

Megan’s Law Check: After district approval, volunteers will be requires to present their driver’s license at the site so that a Megan’s Law check can be completed through the Verkada system for final clearance.

Being a Falcon Friends Volunteer is the BEST opportunity to get involved and interact with your student’s school life. 

Become a part of a committed group of parents who help maintain a highly energized and positive atmosphere during student lunches. As a Falcon Friends Volunteer, you will help facilitate a safe and friendly campus environment of opportunities for kids to interact and burn off some energy during lunch. Your kids will greatly appreciate it.

Falcon Friends Scheduling

Once you have completed the required clearance process and your volunteer assignment is confirmed, our Falcon Friends Coordinator will help coordinate opportunities to get involved through a Sign Up Genius.
