Jan 2025 | Happy New Year

New Year - New Books
Do you have a favorite book you wish the library had? Or maybe there's a new book you've been wanting to read? We want to hear from you! Send your book suggestions directly to the librarian and your recommendation could be the next big addition to our shelves!  

January is always exciting as we anticipate the new releases for 2025. Here are a few titles we are looking forward to.

Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins (March 18th)
The Rise of the Sand Spirits by Siobhan McDermott (March 25) 

Want to do even more? You can also donate books! Drop off gently used books at the front office or check out our wish list to purchase a title we're hoping to add. Every book donated helps grow our collection and inspire more readers.

Book of the Month

Participate in Book of the Month on the Sora App in Clever provided by the San Diego County Library. This month's book is:

Winter Reading Challenge with the Carlsbad Library 
Get ready to kick off the new year with curiosity and discovery as Carlsbad’s annual reading challenge returns this January! This year’s theme, “Unplug and Get Curious.” Rewards for registration and completing 240 minutes of reading during the month of January.
