Lots of school breaks mean lots of free time for reading. Be sure to get your favorite library book before the Winter Break.

Library News

Judy Reindeer is Back!

Start looking for Judy Reindeer this later this week until the Thursday before break. Students can enter a raffle each day that they find where she is hiding.

Make an Ornament
In the Book Corner we have ornaments for decorating for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or anything you like. Ornaments will be hung up in the library until the new year.

Carlsbad City Library Reading Challenge
Calling readers in grades 6 to 8: Read and select the activities option to track your reading. Earn rewards after every 10 books. Participants who read 50 books will earn a lei to wear during your promotion ceremony to showcase your accomplishment.
Readers will track their reading via Beanstack or pick up a paper tracker at Dove Library. if you have any questions, email Librarian Ashleigh Hvinden (ashleigh.hvinden@carlsbadca.gov) or Marin Faeyera (marin.faeyera@carlsbadca.gov).
