March Madness Book League Winner

The Big Library Read

Participate in the Big Library Read on the Sora App in Clever provided by the San Diego County Library. This month's book is: 

All students can access these books with no waitlists or holds through the Sora App in Clever. Here's how to sign in. 

If you didn't already read Amari for the CYRM program, you can check it out for the Big Read. This is an action packed story and the AOMS Winner for the CYRM 2024 Program.
Chromebook and Charger Renewals for 2024-25 School Year
 All students will be bringing their Chromebook and Charger during the month of April to be renewed for the next school year. This will happen on a set day with their PE Classes. Please have your student check with their PE teacher on which day they will be coming and remind them to bring their charger with them that day.

If you receive an Overdue Notice after May 1st for either the Chromebook or Charger, your student has not renewed that item and needs to bring it to the library at lunch or brunch. ISPE students will need to come in at Lunch or Brunch. Yearbooks will be held for all students that do not renew their devices. 

All 8th Graders will be taking their current device to CHS/SCHS and will receive a new Chromebook in October of 2024 for high school use. If you are planning to leave the district next year, please email us at kristina.otten@carlsbadusd.net. If you have any questions about Chromebook/Charger renewals or keeping devices over the summer, please reach out to the library at 760-331-6188.
